The BehPrep Fungal DNA has been designed for easy and reliable isolation of genomic DNA from a wide range of fungal species such as Aspergillus and Candida from BAL samples, whole blood, CSF, sputum, and fungal culture. The buffers and consumables have also been optimized to extract DNA from Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria.

The BehPrep Fungal DNA can extract high-purity nucleic acid with the use of silica membrane technology with less hands-on time. The principle relies on the spin column method allows for nucleic acid to specifically binds to the silica membrane while other impurities and cellular debris pass through the column, and then purified DNA eluted from the column with elution buffer and can be directly used for PCR, qPCR, RFLP, and other common downstream applications.
